Who we are
MSVS College of Physiotherapy, Anav was established in 2024 under Manav Sadhan Vikas Sanstha to meet the growing need for qualified physiotherapy professionals in Sindhudurg and surrounding areas.
The institution is approved by the Government of Maharashtra and affiliated to the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), Nashik.
What is physiotherapy?
Physiotherapy is a branch of modern medical science that includes assessment, planning, and implementing rehabilitative programmes to improve or restore human motor functions, maximise movement ability, relieve pain syndromes, and treat or prevent physical challenges associated with injuries, diseases, and other impairments.
Physiotherapists apply movement therapy, ultrasound, heating, laser, and other evidence-based techniques. They may also develop screening and prevention programmes for common physical ailments.
